20 Months

I wanted to at least make sure that I did a quick post about Dayson turning 20 months. Like last month, I'm way behind on getting this out. Can you believe that this little guy is almost two years old!?! I think time passes by so fast right now because he is busy all the time. Rarely does he stop for more than a few moments.

I don't have the numbers for your weight or height this time. Trying to get you to stay still on a scale or for measuring is almost impossible. A big change we're dealing with is the increase in the amount of temper tantrums happening. It seems like every little bit you're throwing some sort of fit. I know this is just a stage (at least I'm hoping so), but boy is it hard. Iyana only had a very brief one and that was mild at best. We've got the smack down temper tantrums with the kicking and screaming. Also along with that is this weird spitting/coughing noise you like to make when you get mad. Looking forward to when you can say more words to help express your feelings so that hopefully these moments will be fewer.

The only other thing happening around here is it's looking like the two year molars are starting to make their presence known. You've constantly got at least one finger in your mouth and you now refuse to let me brush your teeth back there. We'll see how this next month goes as far as the teething. Hopefully these ones won't take so long to come through. Until then...love you little man!

Photoshoots

Over the past week and a half, I had the fun opportunity to do two photoshoots. As nervous as I was, I think it's safe to say that we all had a good time. The first photoshoot was for a couple that I didn't know. Her mom works with my mother-in-law which is how she found out about me. I got a call asking if I would take pictures of her newborn daughter plus a few of her older daughter. They were both such sweet girls.

My next photoshoot was with Miss A. from church. I've been looking forward to this since I was given the opportunity to take her newborn pictures. She has the prettiest eyes and most engaging personality. I loved trying to capture all her different expressions.

It so nice to be able to do pictures for others. It's helping me step out of my comfort zone. BJ has been gently encouraging me to start a business and I'm almost there. Working on that last little bit of confidence. In any case, this has been a joy and I look forward to any more opportunities that God gives me.
