It's Official...

As of March 4th, we now have a preteen in the house. It's so hard to believe that Iyana is 12 now. Wow! Where has that time gone? She has been waiting for this day for a long time. Now of course that she has turned 12, her focus has changed to when she's going to be 13. Why can't kids wait to grow up? Don't they realize that they need to slow down and enjoy this time? I'm looking forward to this year and all the fun and excitement that comes with it. And can you believe it?! I got her post up before the month of March ended and on top of that, she let me get some pictures of her.

 

Happy birthday to my sweet, talkative 12 year old. Our little Iyana Bear isn't so little anymore and is growing into a beautiful, young lady. Love you sweetie!

Samara is 1!!

I'm a month behind in getting this post up. On February 1st, Samara had her first birthday. It doesn't seem possible that a whole year has gone by since she entered the world. We had a quiet family celebration as she was still trying to get healthy. Poor girl had been sick for part of December, most of January and even some of February. It was a bit of a trying time. Thankfully, she has been pretty healthy since then and definitely a happy girl.

This is a pretty calm show of temper compared to what we normally get.

As much as I would love keeping you a tiny baby, I am loving watching you grow and explore and seeing all the changes you're going through. Happy birthday sweet girl, love you so much!
