Swing time

A friend of ours got Dayson a swing this past week and he's slowly starting to enjoy it. It helps me when I want to get a couple of things done around here or even grab a bite to eat. Dayson has been very clingy since returning home from the hospital. Something about the swing though is helping him with that matter and he's becoming more content to not always be in our arms. As much as I love holding and snuggling with him, it sure is hard to get stuff done. Here's a couple of pictures of him enjoying his new swing.

Home

We're home!! Praise the Lord that all of Dayson's tests came back normal. He was most likely fighting some sort of virus that was going around. Probably the same thing that Iyana had (which by the way, she's doing much better). Thank you so much once again for all your prayers and concerns. We appreciate you all!!

From the Hospital

  So far today, Dayson hasn't had any fevers. He's been on antibiotics every few hours just in case one of his tests come back positive which makes him a little more on the fussy side. Had a rough night with him because of this. Every time I would finally get him to sleep (which always took quite a while) it would be time for the nurse to come in and check his vitals or hook him up to his IV pump. That of course would reawaken him and we would have to start all over. But, I will take all the fussiness and him being grumpy over having him deal with a fever and not respond to anything.
  It's still looking like we'll get out of here some time on Sunday. Once home, we'll probably just stay indoors for a while and recoup from this hospital stay. Thank you again for all your prayers. We can't tell you enough how much we appreciate it.

Prayer Request

Just another quick entry here. Last night we ended up having to take Dayson into the ER due to having a high fever. Because he is so young, there are many risks associated with having a higher fever and so he needed to go through a lot of different tests to rule anything out. Currently, we are still waiting to hear back on some of those results. He is going to have to stay in the hospital until at least Sunday morning. Please pray that these final test results will show that he is just fighting a virus and that his little body will be able to get through this. We appreciate all your prayers!

Have I mentioned how much we love our newest little family member? We just can't get enough of him and we all want to hold him at the same time. God has truly blessed us with this little guy and we are so thankful. Here's some more pictures in case you can't get enough of him either ☺.
