We're Back!

We are back online with a working computer!  It has been a long 5 months going without one. I'm always amazed at how much we rely on these things. While I work on getting up to date with everything, here are some recent pictures for you to enjoy.

2 Months

As usual, I'm behind on my posting. Hoping that in the next few months we will have our computer fixed or replaced which will make it much easier to blog again. And maybe by that time, I'll have a little bit more time on my hands...maybe...

Samara turned two months old on the first of this month. It's crazy with how fast time is going by. She has been such a delight to us and it's been so fun to watch her with her older siblings and how much love they all have for each other. I was worried for a while at how Dayson would react to her but he's been so loving and sweet to her.

She had her first well child check up this month. Doctor says she's healthy and coming along right on schedule with all the things that babies do at this age. She weighed in at 10lbs. 13oz. and was 22 1/2 inches long. She wears almost all 3 month size clothing though that's starting to get small. She's been working really hard on holding her head up and has been cooing and trying to mimic us when we talk to her. Love how she smiles so much now and we're really close to getting a laugh out of her. She chuckles in her sleep, so I know it won't be long now until we hear it when she's awake.

Birthday Girl

Its been a month but Iyana turned another year older. It's so hard to imagine that I have an eleven year old. Where has the time gone? We had a small, family party for her a couple days before her actual birthday so that Grammy Niki could be there to celebrate with us.

Things started off with Iyana having to go on a scavenger hunt through out the house and backyard to collect all her gifts.

Searching through everything to see if she guessed the right spot.
