I've been pretty bad about getting my actual camera out lately. Most of the time, my phone is so handy and right there that I don't take the time to get a really decent picture. Yesterday, the kids were all getting along and in a good mood. We had a great time just having fun and not worrying that we were still in our pajama's after noon. I love those kind of days where you can just relax without having the busy schedule of running everywhere.

It's hard to get her to hold still for a picture anymore unless she's actually sitting with someone. Too many things to do and places to go.

These two have such a close bond. He's quite rough with her and she doesn't mind one bit. I have a feeling once she's older, she'll dish out just as much.

I really love this. It's not too often that I catch them snuggling with each other. These are special moments that I will treasure always.

Samara is still getting over a cold bug which is why she looks a little out of it. I'm also starting to notice that she likes to do this little smirk now when her picture gets taken. Little Miss Sassy.

11 Months

Samara is 11 months old now, I may cry. At this point, we have a little over three weeks left until she is officially a 1 year old. Can you believe that almost a whole year has gone by since she was born?! Way too fast for me. This momma's heart is feeling a little sad that her baby girl is growing so quickly.

Any time the front door is open, this little girl is on a mission to get out. Thankful that we have a good railing up since we live on the second floor.

She finally has enough hair to put in a tiny little top knot.

First Christmas. So thankful that we celebrated on Christmas Eve. Poor baby woke up Christmas morning with her first major fever. She was pretty miserable for three days.

First time opening stockings (for Samara), wish she was feeling better to enjoy it more.

This is what she did most of Christmas day. She pretty much went from person to person, did not want to be put down or in bed.

Feeling better here. Well enough to handle Dayson tackling her. She loves this.

Wanted to wait for Easter for her to wear this dress. Tried it on her the other day and realized it's not going to work since it fits her right now.

And just to show she's not all sweet and innocent, here she is throwing a drop to the floor temper tantrum. ☺ Love this little girl. ☺

Our Summer in Phone Pictures - Part 3

Playing catch up here. Realized that I never posted the last batch of our summer pictures taken on my phone. Be prepared for another long post full of pictures.

They took lots of wagon rides. Dayson did really well holding Samara upright. There were times though when I'd turn around and he'd only be holding her by her head because of getting distracted.

Was wondering where they had gone to and found them playing together quietly. This doesn't happen very often and is a blessing when it does.

When I get desperate to keep him entertained, I bring out the beans. He loves them!

Got Dayson's preschool curriculum, getting ready to start him on it soon.

Don't get as many pictures of her anymore now that she's older, we've hit the phase of being camera shy so I love it when I can get these.
