1 Month

Little Dayson, I can't believe how fast this past month has gone. To think that you are already one month old! So much has happened over these past few weeks and you have changed and grown so much just in that short time.

The last time in which you were weighed, which was last Sunday, you came in at 9 pounds 2 ounces. I'm fairly certain that you've gained since then. Not sure if you've grown any in length, though with how you hang over my arms while nursing, I'm pretty sure you've done that too. You wear size 3 month clothing, though you can fit into some 6 month stuff. You never had the chance to wear anything that was the newborn size because of how long you were at birth.

Some things that you like right now: finding your  fingers when you're in a panic, staring at a light that gets left on at night, being snuggled close and sleeping on mom and dad, being carried around by your sister or having her talk your ear off (you tend to just close your eyes and go to sleep), listening to loud noises such as cars driving by or the shower running and anything to do with bouncing.

Some things that you don't like: Anything to do with waiting on anything, whether it be waiting for me to get ready so that I can nurse you, having the car stop at a stoplight, getting your diaper changed or going to sleep. You really don't like sleeping period. We have yet to figure out what is going to work best for you to get you to sleep longer than 10 to 15 minutes at night. You'll sleep just fine if you're on one of us, but as soon as we put you down, your precious little eyes pop right open.
